Sasson made his NHL debut with the Canucks this season, and has recorded two goals and four assists in 24 games. He has nine goals and 17 assists in 37 AHL games in 2024-25.
The Canucks are without forwards Elias Petterson and Nils Hoglander, who are both back in Vancouver treating injuries suffered in Saturday’s game against the New York Rangers.
Vancouver is in Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets on Friday in the fifth game of a six-game road trip.
The Canucks sit five points back of the St. Louis Blues for the West’s final wild-card spot with two games in hand.
