Canucks’ Noah Juulsen out 12 weeks after lower-body procedure
Defenceman Noah Juulsen is set to miss approximately 12 weeks after undergoing a successful lower-body procedure, the team announced Friday. The recovery timeline effectively ends his season.
Juulsen last suited up for the Canucks on Feb. 2 against the Detroit Red Wings, when we tallied 11:57 of ice time in a 3-2 overtime loss.
The 27-year-old missed a stretch earlier in the year with an undisclosed injury and was placed on the injured reserve.
Juulsen will now finish his third season with the Canucks having played 35 games without registering a point in those contests. He was productive defensively, however, as he picked up 101 hits and 60 blocked shots in his 16:17 average time on ice.
