Beck has appeared in two games with the Canadiens this season and has registered zero points. He also has nine goals and 25 points in 27 games with Laval.
The 20-year-old from Peterborough, Ont., was drafted in the second round, 33rd overall, by the Canadiens in 2022.
He made his NHL debut on Jan. 28, 2023, against the Ottawa Senators.
Beck won the Memorial Cup with the Saginaw Spirit last season and was named tournament MVP.
He also captured the OHL championship with his hometown Peterborough Petes and gold with Team Canada at the world junior championship in 2023.
