I lightly dot a small amount of the color corrector using the doe-foot applicator in areas with discoloration, which for me are the hyperpigmentation around my mouth and my laugh lines as well as dark spots from previous breakouts and zits. I use a dense concealer brush to gently pat and blend it into my skin for a more seamless look. After it dries down and settles, I apply my foundation as usual and spot conceal using the #Fauxfilter Concealer where needed. I finish my base by setting it in place with the brand’s bestselling Easy Bake Setting Powder.

If you use too much, you run the risk of looking like an Oompa Loompa. It’s also important to determine the right shade for your skin tone and undertone — going too dark, too light, or using the wrong undertone can also deliver unflattering results. If you have a cool undertone, you’ll need something that has a pink base. Shades Cherry Blossom (light), Pink Pomelo (medium-tan), and Lychee (tan-deep) are your best bet.
