Bronny James is heading to the NBA!
On Thursday (June 27), the 19-year-old point guard from USC, was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 55 pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
That means that next season, Bronny will be playing alongside his dad LeBron James!

Bronny joined the USC Trojans mid-season in December 2023 after being sidelined for five months as he recovered from a cardiac arrest episode that required surgery to treat a congenital heart defect.
During his time on the team, Bronny averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.4 minutes per game.
Bronny is the eldest child of LeBron, 39, and wife Savannah James. They are also parents to son Bryce, 17, and daughter Zhuri, 9.
LeBron was the first overall pick of the 2003 NBA Draft by his home team the Clevland Cavaliers. He joined the Lakers in 2018.
