Blake Lively Tried To Ban Justin Baldoni From It Ends With Us Premiere, His New Bombshell Lawsuit Claims! 

The legal drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni continues to heat up!

After the actress sued him for alleged sexual harassment, Justin filed a bombshell lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday of his own, but against The New York Times — not Blake! Not yet, anyway. He, along with 10 other plaintiffs, including his publicists Jennifer Abel and Melissa Nathan, accused the publication of “libel and false light invasion of privacy” after they published a story about the Gossip Girl alum’s allegations last month. They further claimed the outlet published what they described as “cherry-picked” receipts and “altered communications” without providing “necessary context.”

In the lawsuit, Justin also dropped a bunch of allegations about Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, including that she allegedly tried to ban him and his team at his production company, Wayfarer Studios, from attending the It Ends With Us premiere in New York City in August.

As Perezcious readers will recall, this event was one of the first signs of the nasty feud between Justin and Blake. While the actor was at the premiere, he never posed for any pictures with the cast, which had fans raising their eyebrows and questioning what was going on. And we all know how the situation spiraled from there. Now, according to Justin, there was a reason he was not with everyone that day — Blake. She allegedly forced him and his team to stay away from the other stars if he wanted to attend the premiere!

Per court documents obtained by The Post, the Jane the Virgin alum claimed Blake “initially refused to permit his attendance” at the event to “undermine” his role as the director, executive producer, and star. Blake allegedly agreed to let everyone go but then went to great lengths to ostracize the Five Feet Apart director, his team, and his family during the premiere, “humiliating” them. The suit stated:

“Only after significant pressure did she reluctantly agree to allow Baldoni and the Wayfarer team to attend, but under humiliating conditions. The Wayfarer team and their families, including Baldoni and [producer Jamey] Heath, were segregated from the main cast, barred from the exclusive after-party, and forced to organize their own event at additional cost. Baldoni’s participation on the red carpet was cut short, and his family and friends were confined to a makeshift holding area in the basement before being escorted into a separate theater after Lively’s departure.”

Ultimately, Justin claimed that “not only had Lively stolen the Film, but she also robbed Baldoni and his team of any genuine opportunity to celebrate their hard work.” And this was only one of several instances in which Blake “systematically sidelined [him] from the marketing of his own Film,” Justin alleged.
