Blake Lively is preparing for the worst when it comes to her career after all the drama surrounding her movie, It Ends With Us!

Over the past couple of weeks, the 36-year-old actress has been at the center of controversy not only due to the rumors of her feud with co-star Justin Baldoni but the intense backlash from critics on social media. You see, people slammed Blake for everything from the inappropriate approach she took to promoting a film about domestic violence to the rude behavior she displayed in past interviews and more. Yikes!

It is not looking good for the Gossip Girl alum. In fact, things are so bad that even she is worried! An insider told Dailymail.com on Saturday that Blake fears the scandal will hurt her chances at landing jobs in the future! In her eyes, according to the outlet, this very well could be the “end of her career!” Whoa! The source explained:

“Blake is definitely saddened by the hate she is getting and is trying not to let it affect her, but it is. She thought this was her moment to shine but is now looking at it like the end of her career. She’s fearing no one will want to work with her after this. She really wants to continue producing and directing and acting, but she knows she needs to take a step back for a minute to reassess the future.”

It sounds like we won’t see or hear from Blake for a while! Or at least until the dust settles! Perhaps there is some truth to those rumors circulating that she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, are fleeing Hollywood to move to North Carolina to wait out the storm. Hmm. Only time will tell if the Green Lantern star’s career is over for good due to this scandal. One thing we do know is that Blake should not plan on having the sequel to IEWU lined up if no other projects come her way these days! Given her rift with Justin and online backlash, the chances of It Starts With US getting made is slim! Oof.
