And as the Sweet Top Lemonades come in a trio of flavors—classic lemonade, strawberry lemonade and blueberry lavender lemonade—the novelists broke down which kind of beach read they’d pair with each drink.
“To me, strawberry lemonade kind of reminds me of second chance romance,” Christina told E!, “so I would pick a Kennedy Ryan book because she does that trope amazing.”
“Then classic lemonade reminds me of enemies to lovers,” she continued, before Lauren chimed in with “I’m gonna say Love, Theoretically, by Ali Hazelwood.”
As for blueberry lavender, Christina noted the flavors “seem to go together, even though you wouldn’t think of it.” so it makes me think of friends to lovers.”
And Lauren immediately knew it would pair well with “Gold Coast Dilemma by Nana Malone, because they’re so different, these two characters, but they go so well together.”
For them, summer and reading already go hand-in-hand so toss in a cold drink and you’re in for the perfect beach day.
“You take a lemonade, take a book, you got your set,” Lauren emphasized. “It doesn’t matter what you’re reading, you’re on the beach.”
For more books to check out this summer, keep reading.
