3 teams who should target CSK all-rounder Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube could be on the move in the IPL 2026 trade window, with CSK well stocked in the middle order department.
Shivam Dube’s future is in limbo as Chennai Super Kings eye a rebuild heading into IPL 2026. After a forgettable IPL 2025, CSK added the likes of Ayush Mhatre, Dewald Brevis and Urvil Patel to their side.
CSK hence are blessed with middle order options with Ravindra Jadeja also transitioning into a No.4 batter. Dube thus remains an odd fit in CSK’s plans, despite being retained ahead of the mega auctions. The left hander however remains a middle overs spin hitter, and could be a good fit to a number of sides. Here are 3 teams where Dube could be a good fit in IPL 2026
Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals started IPL 2025 off with a bang but tapered off to be knocked out in the group stage. DC struggled for runs in the middle order, with KL Rahul batting at multiple positions. Axar Patel as captain promoted himself to No.4, a role which Dube can easily essay. The Arun Jaitley Stadium has short boundaries which could aid Dube’s six-hitting skills.
Lucknow Super Giants
Lucknow Super Giants finished 8th in IPL 2025 and lacked impetus in their middle order. LSG’s charge was carried by their top 3, with their middle order struggling to carry the momentum. Given Rishabh Pant and Co employ an overseas Top 3, Dube could add much needed firepower and allow them to play an overseas fast bowler.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Another team that did not make the playoffs. Dube could add more firepower to a strong batting line up. With Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma to follow, Dube could become a force to reckon with on flat surfaces in Hyderabad.
