American nanny working for Swiss billionaires reveals the craziest things she has seen
An American woman who works as a nanny for Swiss billionaires has revealed some of the jaw-dropping differences she experienced since working for the super rich.
The nanny, who posts under the username @angelicskintips, posted to TikTok, sharing the wild things she’s experienced working for people in a much higher tax bracket than she’s used to.
The woman, who has been working as a nanny for 11 months in Switzerland, shared her observations in a series of videos posted to the video-sharing platform.
She noted first of all that people in the European country are very serious about keeping to a schedule – and she’s rarely dealt with late people.
‘Being five minutes late feels like a crime,’ she noted. ‘Swiss people plan their day down to the second. Even if you’re a minute behind, expected to be fired. The pressure is real.’

She then spoke of the impressive language skills the kids have, revealing some of the children are learning four languages at the same time.
The nanny, who has found work through nanny agencies, said Swiss parents rarely allow their kids to play with phones.
‘They actually read, play outside, and actually talk to each other,’ she explained. ‘It’s like the old days… with private tennis lessons and a Michelin-star chef.’
The nanny said the parents have even given her a whole new wardrobe so their kids don’t get ’embarrassed’ by what she’s wearing.
‘I’m not complaining though – my closet looks like it’s straight out of Vogue,’ she quipped.
She was also given a Range Rover to drive for the duration of her contract, and allowed access to the masseuse who comes to the house every morning at 5am.
The nanny shed some light into how the household works, sharing she is only allowed to communicate with the house manager.
‘No matter what, I’m only allowed to speak with the house manager,’ she explained. ‘The only time I’ve met with the parents are when I first interviewed for the job.’

But it’s not the first time nannies for the super wealthy have shared their experiences, with many sharing tales of working holidays on private yachts, flying by private jet, VIP access to theme parks and meals cooked by private chefs can be all in a day’s work, they reveal.
Last year, TikTok user Ginger Rose Smith, took to the platform to share her experiences as working as a nanny for a Middle Eastern royal family who were spending time in Los Angeles.
She was employed in the position five years ago to support herself while she was doing an unpaid internship in the city.
Speaking to MailOnline Travel, Ginger Rose said that VIP access to ‘some of the most elite shops, events, and shows’ was one of the biggest perks of the role.
She claimed: ‘We’d go shopping at the Nike store and they would literally close the store down for us to shop there.’
