The new movie A Family Affair originally had a very different title, but Netflix decided it needed to be changed.

Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Joey King star in the new romantic comedy following a surprising romance which kicks off comic consequences for a young woman (King), her mother (Kidman) and her movie star boss (Efron) as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity.

In a new interview, Nicole and Zac talked about the original title that was on the script when they were pitched the movie and how it helped make them sit down to read it.

“Originally, it had a different title,” Nicole told People.

Zac chimed in and revealed, “It was called Motherf–ker.”

Nicole added, “Beeped out. Somehow that didn’t make it onto the Netflix title.”

Zac explained, “That made the script stay at the top of the pile. It’s like, what on Earth could this be about?”
