90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 9 Trailer Teases Fights, Cheating Allegations, and Darcey Silva
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has been on a downward spiral over the past several years.
What started as an examination of couples going through the K1 visa process turned into something much bigger.
With countless spinoffs and drama, the franchise deviated from what made it so unique.
Nowadays, the show is primarily populated by individuals intent on expanding their social media following rather than finding love.
It appears to be the name of the game across the entire reality TV gamut in this social media-conscious world.
TLC on Thursday debuted the official trailer for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 promises to send the 90 Day Fiancé universe further into a more manufactured direction.
The 90 Day Fiancéé Franchise is Getting Wilder
Of note, Gino & Jasmine are back, but they’re not living together.
After introducing a third person into their relationship, Matt, the trailer shows Gino and Jasmine at odds and very much apart.
Understandably, there’s been a great deal of confusion about where the former couple stands with each other, especially since Jasmine has announced she’s pregnant with Matt’s baby.
But thanks to the TLC production schedule, the series is way behind on that.
So, we see Gino getting up close and personal with a new woman and Jasmine trying to navigate her life post-Gino.
It’s difficult to tell where Gino and Jasmine stand with one another, but their tensions reach a fever pitch when Jasmine calls his new girlfriend a “whore.”
The two women get into a physical altercation, which we’re sure TLC and producers loved, as it’s one of the most dramatic moments in the trailer.
The other significant development is Darcey’s return to the series.
She spent several years headlining a spinoff with her twin sister, but the ratings imploded, leading to its cancellation.
Darcey’s big storyline this season involves meeting her husband, Georgi’s, parents, which doesn’t go down very well.
When Darcey cries in front of the TV cameras, it’s never-ending, and it looks like Georgi’s parents have had enough of it pretty much instantly.
Where will this messy storyline go? We don’t know, so we’ll have to tune in to watch it all play out!
The rest of the cast includes Brandon and Julia, Tigerlily and Adnan, Kara and Guillermo, Jovi and Yara, Elizabeth and Andrei, and Loren and Alexei.
