After hovering within Peacock’s Top 10 for some time, the series – which has already been renewed through Season 61 – hit number one on the chart.
Puck News founder Matthew Belloni shared the information via Luminate, writing: “The top-rated show last week on Peacock, per new Luminate data: DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Season 60. Yes, a 60 year old daytime soap.”
The show just celebrated its 59th anniversary with a touching tribute to Drake Hogestyn (John), Bill Hayes (Doug) and John Aniston (Victor), with the 15,000th episode and 60th anniversary celebrations just ahead.
