Texans WR Nico Collins inactive vs. Lions
The return of Nico Collins will have to wait one more week.
After being labelled a game-time decision, the Houston Texans’ star WR is officially inactive for Sunday’s primetime matchup with the Detroit Lions, the team announced.
Houston activated Collins from injured reserve on Friday. The fourth-year pro missed the last four games due to a hamstring strain.
The Texans have gone 2-2 in Collins’ absence and especially missed the wideout in their most recent 27-13 loss to the New York Jets in Week 9.
Collins has averaged 113.4 yards per game in five contests this season with a whopping 17.7 yards per reception and was leading the league in receiving yards at the time of his injury.
