For those unaware, Amazon Prime Day is a multi-day sales bonanza happening from today, July 16, to Wednesday, July 17, that anyone with an Amazon Prime membership can take advantage of—no coupon needed. Sure, Prime Day is the time to get a fancy Samsung Frame TV, some Apple Airpod earbuds, a KitchenAid stand mixer, or a shiny Vitamix blender at at a major discount. It’s also a prime (pun intended) opportunity to shop for smaller bounties—practical kitchen tools, storage containers, cleaning equipment, and even a few of our favorite pieces of cookware—at the lowest price possible.
We’ll keep you updated as more sales roll in during the sales days themselves—and if other retailers like Target, Walmart, and Best Buy list any deals of their own (competitor deals have become quite common during Prime Day). For now, here are some of the best Amazon Prime Day deals under $25 we think you should take advantage of right now.
Kitchen necessities
You may be thinking of stocking up on skincare or making sure you get that replacement charger at a discount during Prime Day—but don’t forget small kitchen tools. Get our all-time favorite spatula, a vegetable chopper to make dinner prep a breeze, a water filter, a water bottle to stay hydrated on the go, or an old school (but still very functional) can and bottle opener. A salad spinner might seem like a superfluous kitchen tool, but we can attest that once you have one, your salad-making life will be changed forever.
Must-have cookware
Amazon Prime Day is the perfect opportunity to score a major discount on expensive investment cookware like an All-Clad set or a Le Creuset Dutch oven. But plenty of our favorite cookware is affordable even at full price. And believe it or not, with the right the Amazon deal, a good cast iron or nonstick skillet can cost under $25. Get some cute the itty-bitty pans, like GreenPan mini egg pan, or a tiny cocotte from the maker of our favorite Dutch ovens (these are perfect for baked eggs). Of course, you can score one of our all-time favorite inexpensive piece of cookware: a hardy Lodge cast iron skillet that’ll last a lifetime with proper care.
Tiny kitchen gadgets
While most of appliances will cost more than $25 even with the Prime Day deals, there are still a few small gadgets that won’t. Though the DASH egg cooker is small, Bon Appétit staff reports that it’s certainly mighty and handy for boiling eggs (they also have an ice cream maker on sale right now). A meat thermometer is a must if you regularly cook any meat, and will help ensure your steaks and roasts are cooked to perfection. And if you love baking, then you absolutely need a food scale for the most precise measurements when making your weekly loaf of sourdough.
Home deals
We can’t forget the deals on dining staples and other home necessities. If you’ve also managed to break all of your wine glasses, use this sales event to get yourself a new set—or opt for a shatterproof plastic set for your wine and drinking glasses that won’t break at all. They’re perfect for outdoor entertaining. Maybe also get a set of melamine plates that could pass for cute ceramics, but aren’t nearly as delicate. If you are attached to ceramic, these pasta bowls are an absolute steal at 50% off. Don’t forget a candle to keep your kitchen smelling fragrant and fresh as you cook.

Maybe get a milk frother to complete the morning routine you’re going to start when you get your new Moccamaster. Think: Alexa-enabled smart speakers like the Amazon Echo Dot and Echo pop, Amazon smart plugs to control streaming devices and other home electronics through voice commands via Alexa, and so much more. Not all of these items are on sale quite yet, but we’ll be monitoring the early deals and updating this space.
