Since the dawn of time cats have held the principle ‘If I fits, I sits’. We are not entirely sure whether this principle came from, but it might have had something to do with limited resources in the homes they were first let into and a desire to feel a part of that home, no matter how tight or uncomfortable that might mean being.
Regardless of their origins, it comes as a great relief that our cute cat children have developed this habit, because in the day and age of speedy home delivery, we have no got an abundance of cardboard vessels, for our feline friends to try and fit themselves into. What they do not know is that it has become for our pleasure, because what is better, more wholesome, or funnier than watching a pile of floof stuff themselves into a box that once held a keyring.
