We are tired of pretending. We are tired of faking it until we make it. We don’t want to keep acting like we have any energy for anything and anyone except for cats. We are not simply cat people. We are tired cat people. We are cat people who identify as grumpy cats. As introverted, sometimes antisocial, grumpy cats who just want to be left alone with their cat memes right meow. And we are going to embrace it.
This is it. We will no longer be shamed for using our work breaks for scrolling through funny cat memes. We will no longer be told that silly cat memes are not the solution to everything. Because they are. Cat memes like these make us happy. They fill us with joy and pawsitivity. If you don’t understand it, fine, that is your loss, but we are done pretending. We are ready to embrace who we truly are and enjoy the things that really matter to us. And it is time for all of you to do the same.
