Drake and 21 Savage‘s faux Vogue cowl has landed them in sizzling water.
The journal is suing the artists for faking a canopy of the legendary style journal with a purpose to promote their new album Her Loss. In accordance with authorized paperwork obtained by E! Information, Condé Nast, the media firm that publishes Vogue, alleged that by sharing a fraudulent cowl on social media, the 2 rappers created a “widespread promotional marketing campaign” that’s “constructed totally” on the Vogue logos that weren’t licensed to be used.
In an Oct. 30 Instagram publish, the “Take Care” rapper, 36, shared what seemed to be a Vogue cowl that includes himself and 21 Savage, 30, on the journal. He captioned the publish, “Me and my brother on newsstands tomorrow!! Thanks @voguemagazine and Anna Wintour for the love and assist on this historic second. Her Loss Nov 4th.”
