On Tuesday (September 14), 4 former Minneapolis cops made their first look in federal courtroom and pleaded not responsible to abuse of energy prices within the dying of George Floyd.
In accordance with the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the costs allege Derek Chauvin, J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao used the “shade of the regulation” to deprive Floyd of his constitutional rights to be “free from using unreasonable drive” whereas Chauvin had Floyd pinned below his knee for over 9 minutes. The three different former officers didn’t intervene to cease him.
The federal civil case is separate from the state’s case towards the identical officers.
The Star-Tribune studies that the federal prices state that the offense “resulted in bodily harm to, and the dying of George Floyd.”

Derek Chauvin, who for greater than 9 minutes held his knee to George Floyd’s neck, was convicted on all counts of homicide and manslaughter. He was sentenced to 22 ½ years in jail.
