Deadly Nipah virus kills boy in India, prompts worries over outbreak

Officers in southern India are working to stem a possible outbreak of the lethal Nipah virus after a boy died from the uncommon virus final week, in line with information stories.

The 12-year-old boy was admitted to a hospital in Kozhikode, a metropolis within the Indian state of Kerala, with signs of fever and mind irritation, in line with NPR. He was identified with Nipah virus an infection and died on Sept. 5.
