Shailene Woodley is throwing her help behind Aaron Rodgers, and never simply in his private life.
The 29-year-old Divergent actress clarified the place she stands amid her 37-year-old fiancé’s ongoing friction with the NFL’s Inexperienced Bay Packers by retweeting a fiery video from ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday, July 20. Within the footage, Stephen blasts any fellow soccer specialists who criticized Aaron for wanting to go away the Packers because of feeling disrespected by the group that drafted him in 2004.
“It isn’t about soccer—it is not simply in regards to the cash, and it definitely is not about soccer,” Stephen stated within the video. “That is about the best way that the Inexperienced Bay Packers have handled their star participant. They’ve disregarded him, they’ve dismissed him, they’ve minimized him, they’ve disrespected him. And he stated, ‘Bump, y’all, sufficient’s sufficient.'”
Stephen’s vitriolic feedback had been a response to a current ESPN report stating, per sources, that the reigning NFL MVP, who introduced his engagement to Shailene in February, had turned down a proposal from the Packers throughout this offseason that will have prolonged his contract and made him the highest-paid participant in all the league.
